MEW's premonition lasts 25 minutes. It takes them 15 minutes to figure out their seating configuration while others are waiting in line. Then the ride itself lasts 10 minutes, when roller coasters typically run start-to-finish in 120 seconds. Takes you totally out of the movie.

Then the real accident occurs seven seconds into the ride. Who edited this movie?

I couldn't believe when I read his filmography that he played a toilet (no joke) in According to Jim

True, but if they waited the correct time, what would they have done that benefited the film? So instead of making the film longer, they tightened it up by making the crash happen quicker in reality... which can be explained actually... that time just felt slower in the premonition, or that things changed speeding up the crash due to no camera, and other variables now removed.

When you write a movie like that you're going to run into those problems and just realize you have to ignore them .

I was watching the marathon of these flicks on IFC last night and this third movie here completely derailed (har!) the experience. I just DVR's the rest for another day. The entire setup for the roller coaster was too stupid and went on forever.

I was really surprised to see how the entire rollercoaster sequence looked like toys.

I find it a lot more entertaining than the first two.
