For the first time I see Meredith and Alex as a couple

Maybe it's the weakness of Riggs and Meredith. Riggs and Meredith are a bad match. I think he fits more with Maggie. Riggs has more of an off key tone that's not serious. In that way he's like Maggie. Maggie can be serious but for the most part she's light.

Meredith and Alex looked like a couple in last nights episode especially at the jail in the last scene. I think this is where they might be headed because Meredith will probably be the only one in his corner.

I never liked Jo and Alex passed a hook up that lasted too long.

I really like Meredith with Riggs. He could give her a run for her money with her neuroses.

I don't and I don't think the show does either. This is why I bet they will be moving away from Riggs and Meredith and moving towards Meredith and Alex.

Meredith will have to spend a lot of time with Alex because of his arrest and his relationship with the Hospital.

Wow, really? Riggs is a snooze fest. As is Maggie. They're a match made in heaven.

I never really saw Alex and Meredith as a couple before last night but I could absolutely see them together when the series ends. Through it all, they've been there for each other.

I agree, that was the first time I could see them as a couple as well. However, they are a lot like siblings, so they would have to get over that, lol.

Riggs has more chemistry with Hunt then he does with Meredith.

I've been liking Meredith and Alex. I hope they build it slowly and have Alex mature a lot more.

I would rather her be with Alex than Riggs so my vote is for Malex to happen! Riggs can slowly disappear off into the sunset and take Jo with him.

Didn't you F her BF when you two were BFFs?

The idea that Mer might end up with Alex is the only reason I'm still watching this show. This episode proved their bond and chemistry.

Yes, I think I'm with you there. I was (still am) the biggest April-Jackson fan, but they are divorced and it's up in the air if they will get together. Them not ending up together is not really a big deal in the big picture of the series, but Meredith and Alex endgame would be HUGE!

I made my own post about this but I'll say it here too, one thing I'd love to see is for them to both end up single and living together at the house and Alex and Mer raising her kids as a team and they're like a married couple except it's all platonic. I think Meredith and Alex are both strongest when they are single, and I'd love to see them be together but platonically by the end of the show in this way because I do see them as brother and sister more than anything. They're definitely family to each other and I'd love, love, love if they'd have them end up this way.

I can understand that but I personally wouldn't like it. They both have tried too hard to find happiness to live in a "marriage" without love and a relationship. I think that would get really frustrating for them.

No,just cannot see that happening. They are like brother and sister and he is her "person" and you cant date your best friend.

Not now, but I could see it happening when the series is about to end. If Shonda does it now, she will only ruin their relationship

I could never see that happening before the scene in the jail cell. I mean, they could keep the relationship as familial as it has been, but there's possibility there now, that wasn't there before.
