Wanna explain to me why the whites on those shows [when they were actually ON the show] were always portrayed as either racist, egotistical, a-holes, or crazy? Please tell me that's not a little reverse racism right there on your plate...

There have been HUNDREDS of black TV shows, I'll give you a list if you need them, Darling. Then you can take your racism theory and shove it where your head is stuck.

Yes, Phoenix IS mostly white and Hispanic, but there ARE African Americans.

I live in "northern" AZ in a small town called "Prescott." There are almost no African American people here. I take note of it when I notice one (there are that few).

AND most of the Asian restaurants are staffed by Asian Americans (yet I almost never see them around town or in the stores).

Yes, it is. But I think the real difficulty in what you are proposing is that there are VERY few African American NHL hockey players.

It never ceases to amaze me that people think minority = black.

Minorities vary depending on your location. Here in the South, blacks sometimes outnumber whites in a lot of cities...so a film based here that doesn't have a high concentration of each race would be a bit odd. In the SW, not so much...most of their minorities are Hispanic. There was another convo similar to this on the Longmire board. That show featured a plethora of Native Americans...probably one of the smallest group of minorities in the US and concentrated in the area the show is placed, but people were crying racism there too..specifically b/c of the lack of black actors.

I don't see anyone accusing Tyler Perry of racism in his Medea films, which features a handful of whites...and they're stereotyped as uptight or airheaded.

It's a movie. Not a counting game. Get over it.

Obama and Holder would of course have intervened with their federal justice possie as the idiots tried to after Wilson/Brown in Ferguson, but alas, it was already too late..the genocide was complete, and everybody left acted like nothing had happened.

Alison also had dreams before and after of all the murders, but kept her mouth shut until she started dreaming about dead or soon-to-die white and Mexican people....even if she had brought tips of black killings to Scanlon and Devalos, they would have just kept walking briskly down the corridors and in/out of eht elevator whilst saying "I don't know what to tell you, Alison"...
