Terrible
Just paid 4.99 on pay-per view. This movie was so awful I got up and walked out of my own house.

Alicia Witt is just terrible, more so than Leelee.
And Al is like surrounded by chicks in this one: that Heat girl, the nude yogist, the chinese, (dim)Witt, Leelee, Deborah Unger...and so on.
"l think he got the point."
LOL I just watched this and liked it in a "Finals are over and I'm on summer break so I'm gunna sit here for the first time in months and enjoy my evening and watch a movie..okay this movie was pretty bad but since i havent seen anything in months this was AWESOME!" way.
Maybe because I was desperate for a free evening, but I found it to be mildly entertaining..the acting was pretty bad all around...and there were so many different chicks it was hard to keep up. I kept thinking "Poor guy, having to be around all those women"
LOL at the walking out of your own house. I didn't think it was terrible, per se. I was expecting a movie starring Al Pacino as a forensic psychiatrist to be a lot better, but it was okay. The whole murdered little sister thing felt a little stale and overused, and while I did get into the mystery aspect for a while, overall it was a pretty forgettable movie.

Pacino: Decent performance given the circumstances. (Even a below-average performance by Al Pacino is better than the finest performance from loads of those wannabe actors that you see on a daily basis on TV and summer blockbusters).
The Plot: ludicrous to say the least.
Supporting Cast: From decent (Amy Brenneman) to disastrous (Leelee Sobieski).
In short a mediocre movie with an interesting concept that could have been a lot better with the right cast and a better script.
Yeah, I have nothing against Al Pacino or Leelee Sobieski, but from a purely objective standpoint, this movie was utterly terrible. I can't believe Al Pacino keeps taking on these movies... you'd think a supposed "method actor" would at least switch it up from time to time, it's like he just plays "The Al Pacino Character" in every movie now. It's sad.
This movie was a waste of 88 minutes. I don't say this with any vindictiveness, it's just disappointing.
the suspense is ok but there are some questions in my mind like:
1) al's phone was damaged and he borrowed kim's cellphone. how did the murderer-prisoner know about this when he called up kim's number to talk with al's character?
2)how could leelee's character have pulled off killing the victims with no accomplice to help her? it its more plausibe if leelee's character is a man instead.
this is not a terrible film but it could have been better.
I thought the same as the previous poster about the broken phone. Just one of several plot holes. And the fact the 'twist' didn't really function as a twist, since there was very little surprise involved. It could have been anyone...
Still, as others are saying, watchable and even a little enjoyable! 6/10 is fair I think.
"oh mummy, oh daddy - lets all play Kabadi!"
Appalling in almost every sense. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to look at Pacino the same way after this.
shareme and my girl friend went for this movie only so we could make out. I am so happy about my judgement. This is the kind of movie you would go just so you can make out in cinema :D
