Am I the only one that LOVED this movie?

One of the best children's films I've seen in a lonnnng time. Original, full of adventure, and has heart. I saw it on an airplane and it helped pass time a LOT.

Giles: Don't taunt the Fear Deamon
Xander: Why can he hurt me?
Giles: No, it's just tacky.

Not at all. As I stated its very underrated. I don't know why it was rated so low. It was funny, clever, well acted, beautifully cast, wonderful sets, no violence, little gross humor, and had a positive depiction about overcoming your own fears.

Its one of the best family films I've seen in a long time. My 9 and 12 year old boys really enjoyed it -- watched it several times (my teenage son, didn't care for it much, but didn't dislike it either).

I also really liked the message -- be the hero of your own story ("don't tell me that, I wrote that").

I knew it was going to be good! I loved the comedic role Jodie Foster played with being a germaphobic writer! She had me laughing through the entire movie! lol I also haven't seen her in a comedy action movie since Freaky Friday! I hope she does another comedy film like this one! She's very good at it! I agree she has done too many serious films..

I also loved Abagail and her animal friends! She was perfect for this role! Not to forget Gerald Butler! I agree he's a pretty goodlooking and talented actor! ;)

This was such an uplifting movie.. Loved the creativity that went into telling the story and the true message behind it. "Be the hero of your own story." Very true..

I am so glad I didn't take this movie back to the library today! Even if it was due back.. I was so stressed about paying a late fee.. ah, well.. this movie was worth the late fee! lol

I might just buy this movie now that I finally seen it!

I recommend this movie to everyone.. all ages!

I really enjoyed it. (I'm a 55-year-old male with grown kids. I've been a big fan of Jodi Foster for years. Also, I enjoyed Little Miss Sunshine.) This was a good family film. Obviously you have to approach it with different expectations, and thresholds of credibility, than an adult movie.

It's a nice little flick. No major disappointments.

Nims is a cute little movie. I thought that Gerard Butler was great in the duel role, and little girls do have an imaginary hero that closely resembles their Dad.

Great movie! Foster and the little girl were great. Subtle in many ways. Funny and with that sense of fantasy from children point of view that adults can fondly recall from our own childhoods.

I loved it as well
