Can anyone help suggest more movies with missing people?

I'm actually looking for more movies where there's a missing person and either there's no evidence the person existed or other people try to convince someone that there never really was a person. This one, "Dangerous Crossing", "So Long at the Fair", "The Lady Vanishes", "Bunny Lake is Missing", "The Forgotten", "Breakdown". Can anyone think of any others?

An excellent Iranian film called About Elly.
Highly recommended.

A Korean film called "Hwacha" as well.
Not amazing but solid mystery film based on superb Japanese thriller novel.

This might be the reverse of what you're talking about, but...

Shutter Island

Not sure if this one counts as far as non-existing person...

The Fugitive

And not quite up your alley based on what you're looking for (because they certainly exist), but...

Man on Fire
Gone Baby Gone
Ransom
Saving Private Ryan
Taken

I fear adding any more to this list will give away certain twists.

Something similar to what you're looking for.

Gone (2012)

That one with Amanda Seyfried in it.
There IS a person but no one believes she's missing.

Sir, I appreciate the struggle you have been through, and I am very sorry to have caused you pain.

Without a Trace - an older film from the 1970s but very suspenseful.

Tell No One - French film but excellent and somewhat like your description except people try to convince guy that his wife is dead and even suspect him of murdering her. Has the cutest dog ever in it, and it plays a key role in the plot.
