When the couch was set alight in the house, I figured that the house must be protected somehow, and since the kids can stil breath inside the house, i thought there must be some kind of oxygen field protecting the house....but then the couch floated away into space, still flaming, which is impossible as there is zero oxygen.

We know very little about the magnitude of Electromagnetic Fields surrounding protostars and what they can produce.

You can't breathe in space either, nor does a house have artificial gravity in space. In fact, there aren't houses in space at all. Look up the word "fantasy" in an encyclopedia and get back to me.
