I re-watched the ending just now when Walter gets sucked into the black hole but seconds earlier he's holding onto the game just like Danny was who was spared of being sucked into the black hole.
Was Danny saved from being sucked in too like Walter and Lisa because he won the game?
THE ASTRONAUT said that the black hole allowed him to time-travel (which is how he went back 13 years into the past). Everything and everyone were sucked into the black hole, which is why nothing was destroyed and the boys were in the same place they were before playing. DANNY must've fallen into the black hole too. Otherwise, the ending wouldn't make sense. Notice how, after WALTER is sucked into the black hole, DANNY closes his eyes. The camera stays on his eyes shut until they're back where they started. I think he was sucked into the black hole but it wasn't shown to the audience.
