who else thought the 16-year-old daughter was gonna start hitting on him

there's a part where she's looking at him and clearly giving him fuckeyes. i thought she would start hitting on him and it would make steve carrell uncomfortable, since he's so desperate to lose his virginity but is also not willing to sleep with an underage girl. the could've been some cool conflict here, especially considering a lot of men probably would've supported steve carrell if he banged a 16-year-old and it would've opened up a much-needed conversation about morality and desperation that would've been much deeper than anything in the film. instead i find the whole subplot pointless. he impresses a teenager...okay? and? should've been cut entirely.
