Worth checking out?

I have heard mostly bad reviews about the movie, but of the good reviews that I hear people absolutely love it. Both sides tell me it is a complex puzzle, that requires multiple viewing to completely grasp the entire story and it is unlike any other movie. It is worth me seeking it out?

Yes. Its interesting. Not as good as Donnie Darko but better than The Box.

Thanks, I might just give it a watch. I only hesitate, because this had one of worst test screenings in Cannes history, but either way I guess it will be something different.

Last time saw it, you could rent DVDs at Blockbuster. I remember being it a confusing mess.

I need to check the new bluray. Maybe I could appreciate it better now that I'm older.

It’s a very strange movie, but I say give it shot, just to be able to say that you’ve watched it.
And if you can’t even get through it, well that’s perfectly understandable.
I personally think that it’s a quirky mess of a movie, but it has its moments and for some reason I still find it tolerable to watch on certain late nights if I have a couple drinks in me and it happens to be on HBO.

I’d say ‘no’. It’s a confusing mess with very little substance, and it’s 2.5 hours long. Took me 3 sittings to get through it and I wish I hadn’t bothered. Spare yourself.
