Why do all girls love Warren Peace?!!

Just about every girl I've spoken to who've seen this movie totally digg Peace. To me he's nothing but a bad boy with a moody attitude who tries to look cool by dressing in black leather. IMO, girls who marry bad boys will ALWAYS regret it later as they get beaten up and abused by them later in life. That has always happened.

Anyone who watched the movie and thinks Warren is a "bad boy" at heart didn't understand his character. The bad boy persona is a front so people will leave him be. When we first meet Warren in the movie, he's a loner, he just wants to be left alone. But later in the movie, as Layla and the others slowly start to befriend him, we see despite him being something of a grump more often than not, he's actually got a great sense of humor and a kind/caring side to him. If he were really a "bad boy" in the sense that he cares only for himself, would have sat and listened to Layla as she spoke to him of Will? No. Hell, he didn't like Will, if he were less caring he would have walked away simply because of that - but Layla obviously needed to talk to someone, so he stuck around. And later, despite still not really liking Will, he does Layla (and Will) a favor and informs Will that Layla is in love with him. If he were true to the stereotype of the unfeeling "bad boy," he wouldn't have bothered.

"...bad boy with a moody attitude who tries to look cool by dressing in black leather..."?

How about good guy with a sense of humor, a love of books, and a bad boy facade? Mind, he's still a tough guy - he can create fire, he can fight when he needs to - but he's still good.

And what's with the hating on his clothes? Honestly, why does anyone pick out nice clothes? Obviously, it isn't so they can wear them and look bad. Warren's style suits him - it serves to enhance his good looks. More power to him.

But hey, when it comes down to it, Warren is good looking and likeable (or depending on who you are, loveable).

And when girls go for the "bad boy" it's because they're hoping it's just a facade, they want to see the nice side of the personality. Unfortunately for a lot of these girls, they don't realize their bad boy is, in fact, bad, it isn't a facade, and there is no nice personality waiting to be found.

(And yes, if I attended Sky High, I would absolutely be crushing on Warren Peace.)

I think he's hott cause he's played by Steven Strait whom I love. He is definitley underrated and I watch this movie whenever it is on solely because of Him.

Because that guy is hot hot hot, even in that witch movie he was hot hot hot

Did that actually happen to you?
I know a lot of women who have married bad boys and turned them into nice citizens. And I also know women who married nice guys who nearly killed their wives. It's a proven fact that people's behaviour is almost always influenced by their couples, independently of what they learned from their parents. A woman who gets married a beater and divorces, almost always gets married with another one. A beater who gets divorced sometimes develops into a better person if he finds the right woman. I'm sorry if this is not what you wanted to hear.

In regards to Warren Peace's character he has issues to began with his dad is a criminal. His all grumpy surly attitude was all used a way of preventing people from getting close to him because if his dad wasn't there for him he finds it easier to not connect with other people because then he wouldn't have to experience possible similar dissapointment. As the movie progessed it's exposed that it's just a defense mechanism, and that he is a caring empathetic friendly person. Last I checked he helped other people in this movie besides himself not something a true badboy would do. Add in he helped out Will, and Layla telling them both that both are into each other romantically. A badboy would go after Layla, and not tell her or Will that either are into each other.

However he's not truly a badboy not in the sense of being a unempathetic overconfident bastard that has no respect for women, or others, and you just want to batter him till he bleeds.

Also yes there is a common problem that women think underneath a apalling badboy that it's just a sham, and the guy truly is a sweetheart. However more often than not the badboy is infact a bastard. Women think they can change a badboy into a sweetheart which is almost never successful because a person won't change unless they want to change. Women have to learn this the hard way, and end up experiencing much sorrow, and misery. Then of course there are women with low self esteem that are easy victims of badboys. Also I hate that badboys manage to screw up women then guys that aren't the contemptable bastards pay the price for another bastard's mistakes.

ok a lot of bad boys do beat theyre girlfriends up but warren wanst actually a bad boy that was just a cover

He's not bad. Just moody and an outcast. I mean seriously, does he seem the type to abuse them? No. He was cute and a lot more likeable than Will, he had little personality. Someone sounds a wee bit jealous.

Hey there, Delilah! How bout we all shut up now?!

reply

Because he's a good guy deep down inside. He just doesn't show it to anyone until Will and his friends come along. He's the mysterious good/bad boy.

It was a run-by fruiting!- Mrs. Doubtfire

reply

Because he fits the "bad boy with a heart of gold" image that doesn't really exist.

reply

He's rocking that mysterious look.
And he's hot as well.

Bad boys don't always abuse, they're just secluded for their own reasons.. In this case family issues.
He wasn't the abusive type anyway, the character was sweet and caring to Layla he just doesn't socialize well.

Besides.. He's just a fictional character.

Hence why I said, "doesn't really exist."
