Petition For Sky High Sequel

I have created a petition in hopes to get a sequel made to Sky High and thought that posting here might get some more signatures. If you are interested in signing here is the link:

Feel free to personalize your signature a bit... People do take notice when you take the extra effort to write something besides what is there by default.

Does this petition make your email address publically viewable. As Spambots would harvest the hell out of these if they did and you'd get spam mail for years to come.

Which thus makes me reluctant to sign it, even though I really would love a sequel to Sky High.

What new villains could see in the sequel if there was one?

reply

there would have to be a cameo by Adam West & Burt Ward
and for once, West shouldn't be treated like a joke

Can I sign an anti petition?

Arguing online is like the Special Olympics. No matter who wins, you're still retarded

Me too! I enjoyed it very much, but i know there won`t be one,and if it will be! than i hope it is enjoyable like these one.

I rather see a Sky High TV show version. There is all kind of shows, but not a superhero / villain High School. If you don't like the movie, watch something else. I can't stand people who hate thing but go to that message board to b****. I thought the movie was funny and a cool idea.

I'm not too sure about this. It seems people get sick of tame, watered-down superhero shtick really fast. I'm thinking of No Ordinary Family in particular. Whereas people went nuts for Heroes, which was more serious and dramatic. I think people only enjoy it in small doses, because they prefer more dramatised versions. Also, I hate to say it because I do love Sky High, but SH as a TV show sounds like something that would appear on the Disney Channel.

I don't see how a petition would help. Its a business decision and petitions don't bring in the money. If you want to see a sequel, buy the DVD and merchandise. Make it worth their while. A small petition won't help. The film was seen in theaters by about 10 million people in the US (very roughly, based on the gross). Compare that with the number of people you can reasonably get to sign the petition. A few thousand?

its interesting too, that Disney just bought Marvel.

Now if there were a sequel, it may reflect Marvel Characters instead of the DC Comics ones... (e.g. Wonder Woman)

I think an animated TV series or some kind of graphic novel saga approach would be more successful given the setting.

reply

Graphic novel approach would be real cool I definitely want to see a sequel would be real cool too.
