Goof - Filming location

IMDB says this was filmed at Odessa, Ukraine. The scenes are not if Odessa, and in the scene at the beginning of the movie at the train station, they clearly show ???I? "Lviv" which is a city in Ukraine that is hours away and not by the sea. Odessa is seaside and Lviv is not. Only river scenes are shown, including ship building locations.

Yeah, the geography really threw me. Somewhere I read it was filmed in Prague. Wtf, eh? Also, Trachimbrod was actually nearer to Lviv. Not sure why it was set in Odesa, but it just never added up except adding to the disjointed feeling.
