This is my favorite show ever. James Spader and William Shatner were the perfect team. I never was a big Shatner fan before this show, but I totally loved him as Denny Crane. James Spader became my favorite actor when he appeared on The Practice and has not relinquished that title since.

I loved it as well. ABC refused to promote it, it should have lasted a few more years.

I love this show. I recently watched it the span of a couple of months from the end of last year to the beginning of this one. I then bought the final season of The Practice to see a little more of the characters I came to love (and in hindsight, I should have started there). Still, it was a great experience. The comedy and drama were mixed wonderfully, and the Shatner/Spader combination was the highlight of the series for me.

We loved this show the first time around, and we still enjoy it in syndication. Spader and Shatner make a fabulous team, along with Candice Bergen, Rene Auberjonois, Mark Valley, Betty White, Julie Bowen, John Larroquette and Christian Clemenson. All these years later, we still find the show humorous and provocative.

Yes - what you just said. Sums up my feelings exactly. I even agree with your signature line.

The dialogue was brilliant, the characters hilarious.

It made me laugh from the first seconds when Denny Crane hit the mute button on the video conference, and I laughed all the way through.

Shatner was great, Spader was great. Plethora of beautiful female eye candy sprinkled thoughout.

Fab series.
