Some fanboys on here actually thought this film might achieve a Bladerunner-like cult status someday. I know it's still too early to tell, but I thought I'd ask since there are currently available on amazon.com 251 Used & new DVD's from $1.40.

I sincerely wanted this film to be great, but when they cast Theron in the lead, which I consider a sellout maneuver, AND booked Kusama to direct, I had significant doubts about it's probability of success.

No, because the films it's based on (Matrix, Dark City, etc) are already classics. However, it's a well put together collage and worth seeing on that basis IMO.
