Sorry to ppl who liked it but i was SO BORED!

Seriously he only reason I watched it from beginning to end was because I was after hearing so much hype about it "its unbelievably good""its amazing!" but it didnt get any better I stayed bored out of my mind.
I was really really bored with it, I dont know about anyone else but I was pretty dissapointed.

I didn't think the movie was boring at all, and I gave up on Lawrence of Arabia after about an hour.

The movie was admittedly slow, but the storyline and performances are really good. In general I think it is a good movie.

I couldn't get past the one-hour mark of LOA either. Perhaps I need Adderall.

The trouble is (apart from Phillipe's poor performance!) that very little actually happens.

We join what was no doubt a long investigation with only two months of it left. And in that 2 months not much happens . . . will he get back into the car . . . the high point of suspense. That and will he remember which pocket the palm pilot came out of!

There was no insight into characters and their motivations.

I take it from this film that while it was an important investigation onto a serious spy it was largely routine without much excitement around which to build a movie.

I wasn't totally bored but only because I was surfing the web while I watched!!

Ah, so you were muli-tasking while watching this film.

Let me tell what you so clearly missed. This is a psychological drama. It lacks any kind of moronic scene which started with the words, "This is why I did it." But the clues to each of the two main character's motivations weave in and out of this story throughout.

Next time you want to toss in your 2 cents critiquing a film, try watching it first as opposed to letting it play in the background.

No worries. Your feeble little ego doesn't affect this film's reputation, and it's not like you're the only one who didn't like the film. I'm sure there were several thousand other people who rented it on NetFlix and never bothered watching it.

It's a thinking man's movie. I enjoyed it.

reply

I don't know why you found it boring. I was enjoying every second of it. It was not suppose to be some follow up to the high octane Jason Bourne series which has all the explosions a first run feature can pack, which some mainstream movie goers find "interesting."

What this film had that was great was an edge of realism. The scenes and acting were realistic. So do you find real life boring? I'd like to hear your response

Me too...and I was wondering how they would get him all along. That was enough to enjoy the movie and don't find it to be boring.

For everybody who thinks this movie is boring, try watching the documentary that was featured on Discovery or NatGeo (can't remember which one) at the time of his capture. I found it to be much more captivating and entartaining than this movie.
