Do you believe in werewolves?
Do you?

People who actually come forward and claim to be vampires are either Schizophrenic on some level or have Renfield's Syndrome, also called Clinical Vampirism. Now, this could go hand-in-hand with people thinking they are werewolves too.
The stages of Renfield's Syndrome are this:
1. A form of self-mutilation where subject drinks their own blood (it is considered to give them some sort of sexual satisfaction).
2. Zoophagia then sets in over time and the subject desires to kill and drink from living animals. They often believe they are consuming the animal's "life force".
3. Finally the delusion that they are a vampire consumes their own psyche to the point where they are beyond help. Suffering from delusions that one would have to steal another's life force to maintain their own, which leads them to believe that humans are the best possible answer. These people often steal blood from hospitals and blood banks if they don't feel 100% on actually killing people.
See how this could be interchangeable with Werewolves being the subject matter instead? Werewolves and Vampires often go hand-in-hand considering that in earlier times it was thought that vampires could shift into wolves.
And if supernatural beings exist, how would we know that vampires aren't really the werewolves we separate as a completely different entity? Those stories about werewolves could be about vampires who could shift into wolves, which would be very interesting and highly disappointing to the new teenage cliques out there who think they are real werewolves. (seriously it's a new teen fad, go watch some interviews on YouTube)
You would think killing people would make them like you but it doesn't. It just makes them dead.

Like Bigfoot & other creatures of folklore this stuff makes for good TV shows & movies but let's not go overboard & attempt to say they are real. Despite all of the "sightings" of Bigfoot no carcass has ever been found & no one has ever shot/trapped one.
And for vampires & werewolves it's even more silly. I love vampire movies/novels & reading about the various legends across cultures & their origins BUT I don't believe for a second that they exist. There is no scientific basis for their so-called existence & once again no one has ever seen one & been able to document it. Same for other creatures.
Let's face it, real life is scary enough, with "creatures" like Charles Manson, Bundy & the guy in Cleveland who kidnapped the girls and raped & imprisoned them in his hell hole of a house. All are scary enough w/o creating imaginary villains or monsters.
No I don't think there's such a thing as werewolves or vampires that's just silly. I think two quotes fit well here.

"Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence" -Carl Sagan

Instead of asking a question about legends and the occult on a site about MOVIES, do a little actual research. Start with the textbook, The Werewolf, by Montague Summers, an occult scholar.
