As usual 'females under 18' overrating another piece of crap

Everytime... They overrate crappy films and they underrate masterpieces or complicated films.
When are their votes going to be removed from the ranks? They've proved to be useless.

shut the hell up, man! I am a femanle under 18 and I hated this piece of crap. So dear resentful, generalizing *beep* refrain from further posting maybe, you should be the one banned from the site.

Good luck to Guido.

I'm kinda in the middle of these ages listed. I like the film. It wasn't a classic. It didn't suck. It was enjoyable enough.

I like Jennifer Garner but there was something not quite right about her in this film. Not believeable in a way.
Kevin Smith is a god but he was way off here. He is a comic genius but was kinda wasted imho.
I'll always watch Timothy Olyphant, but he was verging on the strange here. Good looking. Appealing. But not quite as you want him.

That said. I'd watch it again. And I'm on the 'wrong' side of 30!
I'd give all the actors the benefit of the doubt at the end of the day!

Veni, Vidi, Velcro: I came, I saw, I stuck around.

Most of the responses to this post are irrelevant since you guys apparently haven't figured out that you can see the voting break-down by age-gender for each film. The OP is making a valid generalization based on imdb data. Hope this helps.

WHo cares about the breakdown of ages of people who voted for this film. Negative negative negative, arrogant, cranky and know-it-all .... Lighten up ;-)I am 67. Liked it.

Right on lgander41.

'lostbutseeking' probably just never had a girl friend before. He compensates by proclaiming himself some master of cinema. He then puts down the same women who rejected him. His reasoning being that they were all too stupid to handle his cinematic genius.

So I am a 34 year old, straight, white male, with 2 kids, and I liked this movie. Dont get me wrong, I dont think it deserves an academy award or anything. However, the cinematography was great, the actors (minus Juliette Lewis, but to be fair, I never have liked her.) did a fine (not outstanding) job. Again I am not saying that this will go down in history as one of the finest pieces of art ever to be shot on film, but I just wanted to add my $0.02 saying that someone besides 'females under 18' watched, and enjoyed this movie.

Well first off, if any of you are men, then of course your going to hate this film so thats not really fair. And i thought it was a great film, for someone of any age.

I mean come on, it was far better than all that disney, superbad type stuff their [utting out there. NOw that stuff is crap.

Having watched this and quiet enjoyed it (as a 28yr old male), I would be suprised that under 18 females liked this film. There certainly isn't much for them to relate to. I looked at the vote break down (as an earlier poster suggested) and found that barely any under 18 females had voted at all. The vast majority were 18-35 (which makes much more sense).

This is a fairly intelligent and entertaining film (no maserpiece, but okay), certainly not fluffy teen fantasy stuff.
