Dylan McDermott
Is it just me or did his performance in this flick impress you of his acting skills? I mean he really played the pyschotic killer cop to a T. Spacey and Freeman have done better, but they were pretty good here also.

shareHe did a great job.
Got Bacon?
He did a good job playing the bad guy. It looks like he had fun.
In an action movie, the villian is almost always a more interesting character than the hero. (Reference: Any James Bond film).
His performance lasts even after teh movie.....He's really scary in the movie.
shareSame. I found him really convincing and a bit disturbing. I was surprised his name wasn't in the first credits though. His role was as big as Spacey's and Freeman's.
shareHe was fantastic! I loved the scene with Laz and Tilman and he starts going psycho. I thought he was going to shoot Tilman. It was such a convincing role.
shareOkay......anyone who watched this film and was dumb enough to think that any part of the film was redeeming in any way doesn't deserve to procreate.....especially the performance of DYLAN "McCliche Smoke Drink Stripper Cop" McDermsuck. His role was trite and cliche, only outdone by his overacting and inability to flow through different emotions.
my friend who wrote that isn't good with words....
let me just say this. whoever the *beep* deiced to write this film, whoever the *beep* decided to fund this film, whoever the *beep* decided to work on this film is an idiot. they should only be allowed to make money by starring in the lion king 2/3. It is *beep* Robocop! except instead of robocop it has Justin Timberlake, and instead of using guns, he uses his power as a journalist.... I hate myself for watching this film.
oh and Dylan McDermott, to his credit should add a new line to his resume. besides acting, swimming, doing voices and looking cool, he can also do the smoke, drink, coke, stripper, shoot people juggle. Bravo!
You both suck at words.
You both suck.
You suck.
Die.

Oh does ignorance just ramble on this topic with all the "BLEEP'S"
It was a good movie, good acting...no not Academy Award winning material but it was definately good, one of those movies that is not about FX or CGI...just acting to keep you involved, and it did that to me.
I have to agree, McDermot was great, Spacey and Freeman have seen better days.

I thought he did an excellent job! I didn't even know that he was in the movie and wasn't expecting that he could play roles like this one...very well at least. He definitley sold me on being scary/psycho/unstable.
shareIt's usually the actors who don't play bad guys much that do a great job at it because they have so much fun. Denzel in training day...i remember an interview with him about that being his favorite roll because he got to kill people in it. Then if you look at serious actors who get to do a good comedic performance, they are almost always great because its something different for them. i've heard, and i have seen it as well, that comedians make the best bad guys.

I agree. He did an amazing job and looked really dark and troubled. I was extremely impressed.

How he impressed me in this boring flick. I never liked his acting before (specially in that lawyer show). The man seems to have a better agent or something. Anyway, I would love to see more of him in action/horror movies instead of the comedy/romance genre (Yuck!!)

mcdermott was possibly my favourite part of this film. his facial hair and fashion sense was super-cool just like an undercover cop should be.
