Whenever you give singers acting roles they bound to suck! and it goes the other way around too. Actors and actresses should just stick to acting and singers should just stick to singing. Of course all of these famous people out there have neither the gift of acting and singing but yet they get paid a baskillion dollars for doing so! lol. But anyh00ps...

I didn't particularly like this movie, but there's no reason that singers can't act and vice versa. Traditionally, that's what actors were back in the day. Triple threats. Actor-singer-dancers. Sometimes a person breaks out in one area first, but they were always talented in others.

Plus, now we've seen Justin Timberlake give in my opinion some very good performances since this film.
