It basically is so slow that we watched it in fast forward....and which point my wife commented saying it's still so slow :-)
And there are no answers given at all. Movie ends abruptly showing the sons meeting at the college.
What a waste of time !

I am absolutely fascinated by this phenomenon that I began noticing after watching Haneke's films, going on IMDB for the respected film I've watched, and seeing a Thread in the vein of this one. Some people have literally stopped THINKING when viewing films.

A brilliant movie. Perhaps Haneke films should have an IQ rating not an advisory certificate so as not to place too many intellectuial demands on the stupid!
