As of October 10, 2014, the movie only has a 6.5 on IMDB. This is way too low. Idiocracy is such a unique funny movie, should at least have averaged into the 7.0s!

shareI enjoyed it much more upon a recent second viewing. I didn't like it when it was first released cuz I had such high expectations based on Office Space. But this is one of those movies I enjoy much more the second time around.

shareThe satire is lost in the sheer stupidity of the characters and the story. I understand what it's trying to do and all one has to do is log on to Facebook to see that 500 years is an overestimation but this movie just can't get past its own stupidity.
