I'm in the minority I actually liked this movie better than Hero...maybe it was the romantic aspect etc. I don't know. I really liked the climatic snow fight scene to.

I liked HOFD better than Hero all the way up until the end. For me the storyline is the most important aspect of a movie and Hero has a superior storyline to most movies.

Hero? I saw it once. I liked it. I can remember 2 scenes. 2. They were good but not amazing. I am sure I would get more out of Hero watching it a second time, but it is not nearly as good as HoFD.

shareI think it's much better than Hero. I gave Hero a 7. I give this a 9. I found House of Flying Daggers more emotionally involving and even think its action sequences are superior. That fight scene among the wild flowers is one of the best I've ever seen.
