WCH was freakin awesome, but we've been Blair Witched-it's not real!!

Too bad, it was such a good prank, I don't understand why they just didn't REALLY do this prank to someone. I keep noticing so many things throughout the film that weren't adding up, but the biggest one was Kimmel. He was the best friend white ebrowed guy. Perry said that he was his friend since at least 95. It's Kimmel, impossible! I'd know that voice anywhere. I think the Porno Producer was Kimmel also. I woulda most likely bought it if it weren't for that...

What are you talking about?! Delete this post you visually impaired dumbass.

That "best friend e-browed guy" was Tony Barbieri, aka Jake Byrd on JKL. Tony is Jake Byrd.

He also played the character of "Mole" (the "e-browed guy") on the Kevin and Bean Show on KROQ radio for YEARS. Like, since 1990 or something. He would call in from time to time and pretend to be this annoying character, who is usually homeless, or just out of jail, or in trouble with gang members. Getting in some scrape or another. Always totally convincing, and hysterical. Tony, you're a riot.

Yeah, really, delete this stupid post. The DVD even has cable TV scenes with Don and Jimmy in the same scene - where Jimmy started out on Don's show, "Simply Don". Even if it is faked, they are both in shot. Plus, they don't look alike.

Also, Perry's commentary proves what you might initially think anyway. He does think now that they *bleeped* with him, but he still believes it was a real movie that he won fair and square.

Also, he still thinks Ansel Adams is a photographer - problem is, he is the voice of Cotton & Con on King of the Hill and was The Wiz in Seinfeld.

Perry is a dumba$$. He is way too stupid to really knock down anything Don and Mole set up. And I disagree about the acting. I think Don, Mole, and Bobcat do an amazing job of keeping a straight face. Don loses it a couple of times, but Perry is too dumb to see it.

And even if anything was staged, I laughed for 90 minutes solid, then cried with laughter during the DVD extras.... so who cares?

There was one scene about halfway through with Perry arguing with the other two guys (it might have been after the encounter with the gay guy in his trailer) and he started to smile and looked like he was about to burst out laughing and that's when I couldn't help thinking it was a joke. But who knows for sure.

Pete Wentz, you're such a failure. You couldn't even succeed at taking your own life.

Look people, if Perry was really in on the joke, and the filmmakers were really trying to dupe the audience, don't you think they would have edited out any instance of Perry supposedly "breaking character"? In the scene in question, Perry does kind of half-heartedly smile amidst his frustration, but even someone like Perry has to see the humour inherent in the situation, even though he's pissed off.

There was only one scene where I actually questioned the realism of the project: near the end, when they are trying to get into the theater, the guard won't let them in because the show's already started. Don takes Perry aside and says, "There's only one man who can get us in there," and Perry proudly answers, "STONE FURY." This just seemed a little too stagey. He then proceeds to walk back up and give the guard the "half-eye," (which would obviously be intimidating to a 6'4'' musclebound black guy to see a short, dumpy Italian in a goofy hat, squinting his left eye like he's got Bell's palsy), and he lets them in. It all seemed like a bad "Chappelle Show" sketch to me.

But then again, Don and "Mole" have been messing with Perry for over a decade, so they know exactly what buttons to push, and exactly how Perry is going to react.

All I have to say is that if this is fake and Perry is in on the joke but is just "acting" clueless, then Perry Caravello is the best actor in this history of the world. There is no way this is fake.
