It's NOT a Bond movie. It only happens to have a main actor called James Bond but with no resemblance whatsoever to the character we've come to known as James Bond. If I make an Indie movie starring myself and I name my character Jason Bourne, does that make it a Bourne-movie? Exactly. There are NO Bond movies starring daniel "no Bond" craig.

I dont see whats gained by people constantly posting about why people have differing opinions to them, why others like movies they don't and vice versa.

And the inference always seen to be that if you don't agree with the person starting the thread, there is something wrong with you. They are right, and everyone else is wrong.

I really could not care less what people think of movies I like or don't like. I have my opinion and thats that. Dont care what others think...it does not change my enjoyment of the movie.

And there will always be those who say that all this is just a bit of fun, or sarcasm etc. But frankly its stuff like this that is killing these boards.

I, too, am perplexed over Skyfall's popularity. Four spy movies came out that year and the Bond one was somehow the worst.
