IMDb needs to change their algorithm to weight votes from India differently because I have had it with these TERRIBLE films turning up on the list.

sharewho want your opinion you piece of crap. cmon have you even seen this movie. this movie is way better than you say it is. look at hollywood movies, dark knight at no.4 and crap like pulp fiction at no. 5 iam gonna puke. yeah, i know this movie is not made for wesatern mindset but this movie and any other indian movie in imdb top250 list is wayy better than your avangers, how to train your dragon, guardians of the galaxy etc. now shut the *beep* up and imdb 250 is just a popularity list and i don't care what a dumbass american think abt this movie bcs this movie is good, and inspirational better than those comic book crap.

seriusly this is my first post in 9 years of being a member
indeed find a solution to this problem
top 250 is full of these indian trash films
almost 10% consists of bolywood and 100% of those films are worse than mexican soap operas or chip video comedies
some1 start a petition to fix this disgrace
I had the IMDb Top 250 as a path to follow for a couple of years & tried to see them all. I never managed it as we moved to Europe so seeing films at the cinema didn't work (we didn't have the language skills) so needed to wait for the blu ray / DVD release & so were always ~ 9 months behind the curve. At my peak I'd seen 242 I think.
There were some Indian films on the list & some of them have been great films; A Wednesday / Lagan / Like Stars On Earth, but this (& others) have been poor. This was really poor. Sure, there were nice moments & some nice messages, but that's the least you should expect from a 150m film. Mostly, it was POOR. The lead guy was awful, the song & dance routines were below par, the comedy wasn't funny & the standard of acting was very low.
So, I'm not against Indian films per se, but the voting is distorted. No film will ever get anyone to agree on its greatness, but show Jaws to 1,000 people across 50 countries & most will agree that it's a great film. Show this to the same 1,000 & see what replies you get. It won't be pretty.
