I didn't hate it

Am I the only one who didn't hate this movie?

Yeah it was really flawed, but it was enjoyable and good for a Friday night movie...
And at least it's better than Alien Resurrection.

Hear hear...

They should not changed how the Alien creature works. The Birthing-Out-Of-The-Chest was done way too fast. And of course the acid blood was downplayed in this one, and it shouldn't.

Other than that I liked it. Ways above resurrection and requiem.

Unfortunately, people tend to use the word "hate" too freely. I'm not sure it was so much "hate" with most people as it was "disappointment" that it was not the HUGE, BLOCKBUSTER FIGHT-TO-END-ALL-FIGHTS people were expecting. And is WAS disappointing. Something of a waste of two great movie franchises (and a WHOLE lot of resources . . . watch the Special Features on the disc - this was one of those movies that took a ridiculous amount of time, $$$, coordination, and talent to make).
In other words, there was a lot riding on it . . . and it didn't deliver. Especially considering that it was a Paul W. S. Anderson "joint."

Entertaining movie and definitely better then Resurrection.

Dialogue was meh (gun-condom analogy...really?) and the instant cuts and close-ups on the fight scenes are the issues I had.

Liked it for what it is, given the lack of gore which I read the sequel had the violence it required but sucked so bad (haven't watched it yet).

I don't hate it. I even love some moments but it's worse than all 4 Alien films. 3 Predator films are better as well

I just find it very average.

Just rewatched it. I've always liked this movie. The second one is crap, but this one is fine.
