Keep in mind that Steve Carell wasn't exactly a household name yet (he hadn't done The 40 Year Old Virgin, which was pretty much his breakthrough as a leading man). Jane Lynch wasn't exactly a household name yet either since this was still five years away from Glee.

Also, why is a future Oscar winner like Brie Larson in this movie if where going to go down that route?
