I hate that part when Yancy is talking to that guy. Who talks like that? " why are you talking to me? " and how come they got a fat guy for a fat girl? because that's what happens in real life, is it? only thin anorexic girls get the hot guys, right?

No that's not what i'm saying at all. What I am saying is in movies they alway have a "skinny" girl get with the "skinny" guy and a "fat" girl with a "fat" guy. They send the message to girls that if your not a twig then guys won't give you a sencond glance.

Yeah she got the fat guy. Alexa Vega's character would have NEVER got with him because he is larger and the character Yancy would have never been with any guy even remotly like the guy Vega's character got with a the end.

Yeah I hated that. Just one mroe thing that made this movie awful. I've known girls who aren't scarily thin that have hot boyfriends.

i completely agree! The movie is trying to say if your fat you will end up with a fat guy. Never in a movie does the fat girl get the hot guy. Also when Yancy says she likes brownies and that she should stick to guys who like brownies as well, honestly who the *beep* likes celery? lol

If I was a moronic 12 year old girl with lint for brains, I would have walked away from this movie thinking that overweight girls only get overweight girls. This movie was just horrible, un-PC, shallow, sends terrible messages to young girls, and was just so poor, that it makes me want to write a letter to the writers and producers.
shareI don't see whats the point at getting angry with the whole Yancy-Peter relationship. At least she was happy with him and thought him to be attractive. I do understand this brings out the whole 'the fat girl gets the fat guy' message. But honestly this happens in real life so really its not trying to be fake and put in some fat obese girl scoring the hot guy. Its called reality!
