I am really shocked how hollywood tends to goof up indian names ! Kumar Patel are both last names ! how can a person be called kumar patel ! Same with the heros guy mohinder suresh....both first names ! and mohinder is a punjabi name and the guy in heros is south indian ! I think the script writers must get the names approved from some indian person

You would be surprised. I work in healthcare, as an information desk associate, and I just found a guy with the name Jose Carlos. It is NOT just Hollywood.

Who really gives a *beep* about his name though, it was a funny movie. His name could have been Osama Bin Laden and it'd still be funny, and that's obviously not an Indian name... Or is it? American's don't usually know or care, and others shouldn't either. There was a movie with two lead Asians/Indian, get over it.
