Good film totally ruined by 2 things:

The lame use of the CCTV footage - it woulda been beter if they went close up with a proper film camera even if it broke away from the use of the cameras used earlier, there wasnt really enough killings on screen...and the calls to the cops and the way people were running round in unison was almost comical

What the HELL was up with that 911 operator droning on about Andre to pick up the phone - that was making me so angry and then when they kill themselves she is like 'oh, they may be down' lol.

IMO nowhere near as good as ELEPHANT film/entertainment wise.

Also there is no trivia on imdb for this film ATM - there must be some?

I didn't mind the use of the surveillance camera footage; I found that fairly clever, actually, but totally agree that the voice of the operator was a MAJOR MISTAKE. It would've been so much more effective for us to just look at what's going on rather than have to hear this incredibly annoying voice over everything. That was definitely not a good choice on Coccio's behalf

Personally I liked both the camera use and the operator. I thought they were both brilliant. I don't think i've ever been as stunned at the end of a movie than this one. Though I agree, they should have just ended the movie after they commit suicide.
Playing the race card is fun! :)

the build up in this movie is much more interesting than on Elephant, although I agree the killing scenes were cooler in elephant (that's about everything that even was close to being cool in that movie.)

jeezus, the amount of people obsessing and obviously excited about the violence in this movie vis quite scary. "the killings are cool" "you don't see enough killings" what the *beep* weirdos

Zero Day: FAKE (I hope) footage of a school attack,soundtracked by FAKE (I hope) 911 calls.

Bowling for columbine could only be boring for people who have absolutely no soul what-so-ever! It was an amazingly powerful and touching documentary which actually achieved something good (K-Mart banning particular bullets).
People 'poking fun' out of a documentary like this clearly indicates what’s so wrong with certain people in society.

People who take Michael Moore's works as acts of god are what is wrong with society.

So he doesn't like it, and? People have different tastes, don't be ignorant and stupid to assume someone is less intelligent for dislking that documentary. I hate Michael Moore, but his documentary was okay to me. Guess I'm going to hell and a real problem with society.

Showing the library scene through hand-held cameras would be a really clunky and difficult way to do it. Besides, they had no real reason to do it. "State's Evidence" does it that way though.
