I loved this movie until the ending

I thought the ending was a cop out and lacked any balls or creativity.

Can anybody reccomend any films with the same kind of suspenseful, surreal build up but with a better ending?

I agree the ending lacks balls and creativity, but so does the beginning and the middle. Not much you can do with an ending in that case.

If you'd like a little ambiguity with your murder, you might try "Unfaithful."

Am I the only one who saw this move and thought that with the death of his bitch of an ex and her sleazy boyfriend, and considering that Mort was not arrested at the end... it WAS a happy ending? :)

Orphan, the protagonist is also veru mentally ill.

The universe isn’t evil, John, it’s just indifferent.

I really enjoyed this ending, I honestly felt the novella was a bit of a copout.
