Mame and Nyle are both overrated, and had weaker portfolios than Lacey and Mikey. Lacey and Mikey should have been the final 2.

Hadassah's portfolio was actually really good, minus her wounded warriors photo. And height aside, I thought Hadassah had a stronger look than Mame.

Raelia >>>>>> Chantelle in every aspect. More interesting face, better body. I am not even sure why Chantelle gets so much work.

Adam should have won between him, keith and will.

Despite his horrendous personality, Romeo's photos were good.

Alex ( Cycle 20) deserved her comeback ( even though I was hoping Jiana would come back), I always thought Alex took good photos.

Marvin and Renee had the worst personalities in Cycle 20.

I dont get the love for Nastasia. I see no model in her, just a beautiful girl. And she was always praised for subpar photos.

Both Brittany and Allyssa deserved to go overseas in Cycle 19. Just going by the shoots, i would have replaced victoria and nastasia with brittany and allyssa. Brittany probably remains the most robbed girl ever. She could have easily won with her portolios and walk.

Annaliese>> Sophie and Laura

Angelea deserved her win out of the cycle 17 top 3. Its a shame that Tyra discredited her.

Molly over Brittani anyday. How could you let someone with an insanely good portfolio lose over someone with a soso portfolio.

Chelsey was extremely.overlooked in Cycle 15. There were about 3 or 4 times she should have gotten best photo. And she should have won.

Chris actually has my 2nd favorite portfolio in Cycle 15. Just by photos alone, she should have been in the top 2 with Chelsey.

The more I watch cycle 14, the more I do like Angelea. And I loved her photos. I do think she was misunderstood a lot. And Jessica and Raina seemed like bullies to me.

Top 4 in Cycle 13 should have been Nicole, Brittany, Jennifer and Rae. I love Erin, but she did start going downhill halfway through the show. She would be my 5th place.

Aminat was a huge bitch. Unfriendly, ungrateful and ghetto.

Samantha was a better model than McKey, even if she doesnt look like a model. And Analeigh had no business making the top 3.

Being European does not give you an excuse to treat people like *beep* ( cough Elina and Marjorie cough)

I dislike almost the entire group of cycle 10 girls. I dont see the potenial, and it was a weak cast.

I still, to this day, do not understand the Saleisha hate. Her photos werent bad, and she had a much better presence than Chantal. Chantal was a dud.

Jaeda was not that bad of a modek. I dont think i would have taken her further, but it isn't like it was a stretch for her to make top 6.

I preferred Amanda over Michelle.

Joanie wasnt that great of a model, and her krumping shot is horrific. If that picture had come out on a newer cycle, the judges would tear it to shreds.

I loved all of Gina's photos.

Keenyah was the strongest among the cycle 4 final 3. And i find brittany obnoxious and irritable. And I love Keenyah's aliens in Manhattan, despite the fact that most people hated it.

Yoanna had an obsession over Camille. She needed to get over herself. And she is a horrible winner, with only one great photo ( helmet photo)

I don't think that is a controversial opinion. She's one of my favorite winners.

Really? Every time I've posted it/said it anywhere, I've gotten tons of comments about how she's trash and should never have won, etc.

I guess the more controversial opinion is that I still like her?

I've been having antm marathons since getting hulu, watched a few seasons religiously then fell off. My thoughts so far, warning I'm a long winded sob lol, and I'm going to try to stick to controversial opinions (no offense guys, but "Jenah rocked" or "Saleisha sucks" aren't really controversial...):

C1: Robyn was terribly edited and I don't believe she intentionally flashed MrJay for one second. Tripping through a curtain while changing makes a lot more sense, and with the prevalence of the cameras some form of footage would have been shown if it happened exactly as presented. She shouldn't have been there at all, too old and average looking, but that's a separate thing.
Kesse's elimination was absolutely legit. She went shopping during go sees!!
Shannon had a better portfolio and stronger walk, and demonstrated great adaptability in the last runway. Liked Adrienne, but it should have been Shannon taking it.

C2: Yoanna was a nasty girl, and wanted to be a cliquey ringleader type against Camille, but lacked the strength of character to pull it off. However, Camille's comment to Tyra about Yoanna using the bathroom, in that context, had a very obvious intention.
Shandi should have taken it all, and would have given the show the credibility it's always needed if she had.
April was average, in looks and portfolio. And her demeanor was like a middle aged ceo.
No chance in hell that was really Xiomara's best shot underwater.
Letting Jenascia oversleep was messed up. It's a competition and she needed to get her own shish together, but not a single person could bother giving her a quick shake? Even the one she had helped the day before??

C3: Anne was borderline psychotic towards Eva in the first episode, I'm genuinely shocked Eva didn't keep her at arms length for the season!
Amanda had pretty eyes, in a pure white trash shell. Her final CG shot was the only one that didn't have a hint of "trailer" in it. Her accusations against Eva were horrible and she owed her a much better apology.
Jennipher was Amanda without the pretty eyes.
Toccara was pretty and vivacious in the first few episodes. Glad she has had the success since the show, but her mediocre performance makes her elimination very easy too justify.
All of the judges and mr jay were just cruel towards Kelle. I wouldn't have blamed her if she had gone on the interview circuit and put them all on blast.
Eva deserved her win, Yaya was a pretentious twat.

More to come, I'll see how these are received lol

Cycle 1: I only liked Elyse. She reminds me of a good friend of mine, and I loved her work.

Cycle 2: Yoanna's face bugged the hell out of me. I also thought the final two should have been April and Shandi, with April as the winner.

Cycle 3: I actually thought Norelle was way underrated and should have been top 3.

Cycle 4: Keenyah was annoying, and I loved Tiffany. Also, I loved Naima, but would have preferred Kahlen as the winner. Also: Michelle freaked me out and Rebecca should have made it further.

Cycle 5: I loved Nicole and loved that she won. Kim was a narcissistic bully. Lisa was annoying and not very attractive to me. Kyle was boring and safe looking. Nik was gorgeous and I would have loved if she had won, too. Jayla was stunning, but she stole the granola bars and was two-faced.

Cycle 6: I'm glad Danielle won, though Nenna should have been the runner up over Joanie, whom I also liked. Jade was entertaining. Mollie Sue should have made it overseas over Furonda.

Cycle 7: I actually loved Melrose as much as Caridee, and felt that the others only hated her for her drive and how well she did in the competition. Monique should have been the first one eliminated for her psychotic behavior. I never found Anchal attractive. Jada has 0 model potential and I am baffled she made it as far as she did. Meg was adorable and underrated to me.

Cycle 8: I cannot stand Jaslene. Brittany, while irritating and childish, was the most worthy winner. Renee was annoying and a sociopath. Natasha was funny and charming, but I think she was a narcissist.

Cycle 9: Lisa should have been the runner-up at least, with Jenah as the winner. Heather I loved, but she should have been eliminated before Lisa. Chantal was a good model IMO. I am glad Victoria stood up for herself with Twiggy.

Cycle 10: Anya and Katarzyna should have been the final two, with Anya winning. Whitney shouldn't have made it as far as she did, much less be crowned the winner. Marvita had a look that was editorial to me. Aimee was elimated too early. Lauren should have been elimated a lot earlier.

Cycle 11: McKey reminds me of The Joker, and she freaks me out when she speaks, since she talks out of one side of her mouth. Samantha was blah. Marjorie and Lauren Brie should have been the final two. Elena came off as a sociopath. Clark was not as pretty as she was made out to be. Hannah was cute and falsely accused of being racist. Analeigh was awesome. Sheena wasn't very pretty to me, and was obnoxious. Nikeysha did not look like a model, nor did Isis.

Cycle 12: Allison should have won. Fo was underrated. Teyona was a passive-aggressive bully. Talia had too many emotional problems and did not look like a model. Sondra wasn't as amazing as she thought she was. Cynthia didn't look like a model and made it way too far. London's weight should not have had any impact on her elimination. She turned into a gorgeous plus-sized model in the competition.

Cycle 13: 100% agree with Nicole as the winner. Laura annoyed me, but I'm from Kentucky so I see and hear people like her all the time, so maybe I'm just used to it and over it. Erin wasn't that great and was an entitled brat. Sundai was overrated. Rae should have made it further. Rachel was unfairly eliminated and should have been in the top 5. Lulu was gorgeous.

Cycle 14: disagree with everyone and everything on this season. Unwatchable for me.

Cycle 15: Kayla should have won, but I'm not mad that Ann won. I didn't care for Chelsey's look. Liz was very androgynous. Kasey wasn't likeable. Chris was an amazing model. Rihanna was a great model too. Lexie did not look like a model and had no business being there. Ditto for Sarah.

Cycle 16: Molly should have won, but I'm not mad that Brittani won.

Haven't seen past this cycle so I have no more unpopular opinions to share. :-)

I like some of your list, but I'm going to have to disagree with you about Rachael cycle 13. When you are in front of an agent and they ask you your talent you have to be prepared to show it or they won't show interest. Trust me I speak from experience. I'm an aspiring writer and I like to look at people and write stories about them. I make them into characters by using their images. So when I told an agent that he said prove it and let's hear it. I did just that!

Rachel should have pulled a Nomi Malone on that guy and told him "I'm watching you be a prick" as she walked out.

I don't like India all that much and I would be disappointed if she won (at least that's how I feel thus far; maybe she'll impress me later). She put me off from the beginning when she insinuated that travelling was more important to her than actually working as a model. I don't think she's very serious about the competition. And her makeover is cute but would deter her from booking some jobs. They should have just given her lighter blonde hair.
I'm not a huge fan of Paige, either. She's a nice girl but doesn't strike me as a model at all, and her makeover is just meh. It still didn't transform her into a model in my eyes. (Actually let's be honest, a lot of the makeovers were mediocre)

I agree with some comments above. I think Molly should've won Cycle 16, but likewise am not mad that Brittani won. I think they were a deserving top two, and I think overall Cycle 16 was quite a strong cycle.

I agree about the incident with Robin (Cycle 1). We may never know the full truth, but I did feel sorry for her with it almost being like an investigation in the judging room when she had to defend herself. I thought what she said sounded a bit fairfetched but she could have been panicking and shocked it was brought up by the panel. But I thought Mr Jay seemed a bit immature to tell his side of the story to Elyse, and the judges seemed a bit mean I thought, making comments like "I saw them go round and round" and "Where was your Bible?". Just seems unnecessary and an excuse to make digs at her.
I'm sure some of the contestants said Robin was nicer than the way she was edited at times.

I also agree about Will (Cycle 21). Again I don't know what really happened with editing, but I didn't really like him calling out Denzel at panel. I appreciate what Denzel said was hurtful, but it seemed as though Denzel tried to speak to Will about it and Will didn't want to. I understand he may have not wanted to at the time but could've picked a better time than at panel in front of everyone to address it.

I thought Cycle 9 was a mess with elimination orders. I saw the likes of McKey (Cycle 11) and Laura (Cycle 19) as winners early on in a good way, but with Saleisha (Cycle 9) it seemed inevitable she'd win the more the cycle carried out without seeming justified to me. I thought her runway walk alone earned her credit, but not her photoshoots compared to other contestants.
I sort of had a theory that the judges knew Ebony was contemplating quitting. It may be the editing but it almost seemed too planned that she quit at panel and Ambreal got to stay. Other times a contestant has quit, the eliminated contestant was still eliminated. I sort of wondered if Ondrei (Cycle 16) had hoped she might save the contestants from elimination that week by going herself as well.
I'm sure Ebony said in an interview she had thought about quitting for a couple of weeks and wasn't happy and that week she did quit she was thinking of not going to the judging panel with the others as in the rules that's an automatic elimination for missing it, but the camera crew or producers convinced her to go to the panel, as far as I remember. Which makes me think even if Tyra and the judges don't know all of what goes on at the house I suspect Tyra has been told some information and was possibly tipped off about Ebony thinking of quitting.

I think Jenascia (Cycle 2) had an interesting look and was a good model, but I was surprised she wasn't called out for attitude. If I remember rightly she came across quite moody on set in her last week and Tyra was there. I wonder if it contributed to her elimination.

I think I'd enjoy Cycle 7 more if it wasn't for the elimination orders. Melrose is one of my most favourite contestants.
