I'd love to play the host but I'll need two or three more judges and twelve-fourteen contestants.
FNTM was a game that was on here a few years ago that was a lot of fun. There would be photoshoot themes every week and each contestant would submit a photo from their models portfolio. There would also be weekly challenges at panel in which models would have to submit runway videos, polaroids, backstage photos, group shots, etc. It was really fun, well written, and creative.
So at since this board is more active again thanks to the new season of ANTM I'd like to bring this game back for revival.
So here are the rules.
Each user can only have one contestant and they are allowed to vote either publicly or privately each week. You also don't need to be a contestant to vote. No using fake accounts to rank your models higher please. I want this to be a fair competition. I also want to enforce diversity, meaning that there must be at least four women of color in the top 12 or five women of color if we can get 13 or 14. As for the judging panel, I am pretty open. I think I'll play the host so that means being Tyra. I'm open to new judges coming in who haven't been on the show, like Karl Lagarfeld or Naomi Campbell. If you want to be a judge, just tell me which fashion icon you want to be. If you're going to be a judge, you have to commit to writing feedback for each contestant every week or so for panel.
So this is how voting will work. Each user will submit their callout order and then when after voting's closed, I will add each ranking together to create a callout average for each contestant. The gal with the lowest callout average will be eliminated. That's how the callout order each week will work.
When picking a contestant, make sure that she has a solid portfolio and at least a runway video! I'd recommend looking at Models.com Industry Icon list or Top 50s list for a contestant if you need a little help finding the right girl.
I'm super stoked for this to be happening again and I am hopeful folks will show interest! It'll be way more fun than the mediocre cycle we're getting right now.
