FNTMWeek 4: Ten Commandments + Gosees

Greetings models! For week four of the competition the models will have to embody one of the ten commandments of fashion. I will assign each model a specific commandment but I can't release them until we have a final ten.

So for right now I will have you all focus on getting pictures for the gosees challenge. Each model must submit one picture that fits the designer's aesthetic for the season. There will be three designers that the models will see and there can be up to three challenge winners. Each designer will only book one model.

The first designer is Calvin Klein. They want a minimalist and sleek look.

The second is Ralph Lauren. They want elegance and sophistication.

The third is Marc Jacobs. They're going for a grungy and gothic look.

If I were "allowed" to comment on your photos Id be inclined to say that these are some incredible shots of Tian. In fact they fit the brief exactly.

I don't mind the comments. I don't even mind criticism , as long as it's purposeful and constructive.

I don't like the degradation of anyone's photos.

I know right? Yikes...I have been searching since this thread got posted but still havent found anything good enough yet! Although Tian set the bar pretty high! Im kinda struggling with these because all 3 designers have classic clothing and sometimes a little edgier clothing...I feel adjectives like sleek, grungy , gothic, and elegant can be interpreted very differently! This one is gonna be a toughie for sure!

Btw, Im crazy about your MJ and RL shots! Something about that dark sky in the RL one gives me a comtemporary "dorothy in the wizard of oz" vibe.

I think you just need to pay attention to the keywords Rainer mentioned. "Minimalist" and "sleek" makes me think of Lara Stone's ads for Calvin Klein or Kate Moss in the 1990s. "Elegance" and "sophistication" makes me think of bourgeois women and "goth" and "grunge" makes me think of edgy, youthful, hipster types. I think as long as you find something that fits the keywords you should be fine!

Oh I hope mine are ok. I struggled the most with Marc Jacobs. I guess I was confused about what "gothic, grungy look" was supposed to look like lol.

I meant it as you could go in either direction, more grungy or more goth. Sorry that wasn't clear. I was trying to make it be as open as possible to include both styles so that you have more options for pictures to choose from.

question...the CK one..I see you have a rather elegant classic minimalist look..for some reason I was thinking the edgier "rock" style for CK...is what youre looking for an expensive uptown look? This is the one Im struggling with the most lol. Lol..If I make it through this week I think I might be in trouble
