Francois Cluzet is the spitting image of Dustin Hoffman!
Yea or Nay?
shareI came here just to see if anyone else had posted that! In some shots it's dead on; in others, not so much. But the shots where he does look like Hoffman keep reoccurring often enough that the connection persists throughout the entire film.
"Love isn't what you say or how you feel, it's what you DO". (The Last Kiss)
Yup, thought so too.
shareYea ... although after I registered that fact I didn't let it bother me. The only thing that bothered me was that it seemed like Alexandre looked older than Margot, yet they were supposed to be about the same age. Kind of a hair-splitter, though; let that go, too.
Funny, Craigthemovie geek, what you said about those samples at the end of The Fugitive. I hadn't thought about The Fugitive, which I can, strangely, watch over and over, but you're right ... except Alexandre does a whole lot of running.
Gosh, guys, I'm so glad you remember Marathon Man. Right down to "is it safe?" as Pizo quoted. Guess we all are movie geeks.
jesus, 2 pages of posts, totally excited about one actor looking (a bit) like another one. get over it now, it happens and it's not that important - specially in the context of this motion picture.
shareFirst minute, I thought of John Cusack.
Then I thought of Edward Norton. Scratched my head a bit.
Told my dad and he said uh-huh.
But I kept thinking that there was more similar actor.
And yes, I got to Dustin Hoffman eventually (about five minutes in).
Yeah, the thought process stopped there and my dad agreed completely.
Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down and a Wagging Finger of Shame
