Does anyone think that Hilary Duff lip syncs when she sings high? I can tell she is really singing (herself) when she sings low..but it sounds so adult-like when she sings high. It sounds sooo fake, but I can't find a voice-lender in the credits. X( Please tell me what you think so I don't seem crazy! LOL.

yeah. i can definitely tell that there's something wrong with her voice in some parts. it sounds computer generated to me. it sounds bad.

It's her sister haylie. Listen very carefully, you can tell its her.
shareI don't know why everyone says that it's Haylie. It doesn't sound a note like her. I never read anything from Haylie or Hilary about Haylie's involvement. It sounds like either a totally different girl or just some heavy pro-tooling.
sharein music videos and everything else thats not live is li synced.... they also have things that make the voice sound better
shareyes in movies like this the songs are prerecorded and they mouth the words to them...however usually , it's done well, and it sounds like the person...or they are moving their lips in synch with the words (as in My Fair Lady or King and I where hte lead actresse's voice was dubbed) or it doesn't really SOUND recorded...even though you know it was prerecorded. (only instance I can think of where they didn't use a prerecording was in My Fair Lady, Rex Harrison didn't prerecord his "songs")
This instance, it SOUNDED prerecorded, and Hil's lips were not matching with the words... ESPECIALLY in the classroom. The synchronization, the sound... was just... off.
I'm watching this movie right now and I can tell it's her voice in the lower parts of the song, but you can definitely tell it's not her voice in the higher parts. I think they could have done a way better job with that because it sounds really fake. Her lips weren't always in sync with the words, either.
