It really does not matter that you do not care that I don't like it, i never made the post with you in mind.

These message boards are here for everyone to put their opinions on...positive or negative.

"when you don't like it then don't put it on the forum" LOL Movie discussion is not only for people who like movie or tv show.

IMDB would be useless in that case. This show sucks and that have nothing to do with personal taste. Humor is shallow, with no sense when is time to stop and say: OK they get it, let's move on.

That is not enough for them but they decided to repeat that childish jokes over and over again. One of the worse brittish comedy shows. I watched only 2 episodes and every new episode would be suffering.

People on TV.com say same thing.

They've been doing live shows since october 2005 havn't they? I don't think a tiny majority of people who think the show is "trash" are going to put a damper on their success, when millions of people are going to see them perform

Their live shows are tragic, they are sooooooo bad. lol I think tons of people go to see their live shows because they love the TV show, thinking the live will be EVEN MORE AWESOME.
Personally, I'd feel completely ripped off if I paid to see their live performance. Cringe-worthy, I tell you lol

I suppose just being *that close* to Matt & David is enough to make most of the audience piddle in their chairs with glee, but that's not enough for me. I'd have to be wowed and be laughing so hard my face and stomach hurt.

I didn't laugh once during an entire live performance of theirs. Only stunned at how awkward it all was.

^^No, the other way around more like.

Infact I've seen some people who don't like LB (trolls) ranting "YOU'RE ALL IDIOTS!!!" and "THIS IS *beep*" without any facts to back them up. *sarcasm* Oh yes, thats SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO intelligent isn't it? (NOT!).

I wrote a comment (its probably gone now) as to the shows good points without any unsupported outbursts.

This is comeplete crap.
Not just because it is racist and all that but it is NOT FUNNY.
Andy does some crap and everyone sits and watches then he stands up from his wheelchair and everyone laughs like they DIDNT EVEN KNOW IT WAS GONNA BLOODY HAPPEN.
This show is for dumb people and stoned people.

It doesn't light a match against programmes like Peep Show and Mighty Boosh.

Problem with Little Britan is it is vastly overtated and is shoved down your throat when it is at best, midly amusing - thats why so many people are irritated by it; it no way deserves its success. But seeing as only chavs or people who like "Two Pints of Lager" type comedy enjoy it, I suppose it isn;t suprising.

You must have serious lack in braincells if you laugh at the wheelchair guy get up when the other one hasn;t noticed - its the smae joke from episode to episode.

It's the same with all Catchphrase comedy its funny at first then just annoying. Fast Show did it first but was miles more intelligent and funnier than this pile of rubbish!

listen, every1 has their own opinion, so cant u all just face the fact that some of us like little britain, and others dont. what does it matter? i love little britain, but even i can admit that they go a little overboard on some of the jokes and are racist sometimes, but who r u 2 speak? i bet all of u have been racist and overboard on jokes at some point in your life!

And here is a question 4 all u little britain haters: why r u on the IMDb boards 4 little britain when u dont even like it?

As I keep saying I'm all for right of expression, and even though I've gone off the show, I frequent the boards because at one point I did actually quite enjoy it, and so if I can help a fan out with an answer to a question I will do and the only way I can do that is to visit the board.

I'm not going to deny anyone their viewpoint or their likes, but it is a discussion board after all and you are going to get people who do want to take it too far for a rise. I've resigned myself to the fact that it's never going to be a dignified dsicussion for that very reason.

After reading that article, and some of these comments, it's quite clear that a lot of people aren't grasping the concept of the show. The fact that these issues are mentioned, are NOT the shows creators making fun of the actual people themselves. They are taking the characters to a "cartoonish level" to draw attention to those people who do have such discriminatory views. An example of this is the lady who vomits everywhere. The basis of the sketch is that whenever she has eaten something made by someone from another culture, she throw up in a very extreme manner..
So many people look at this and say "Little Britain is racist", but it's not. They have taken the view of racist people and said "ok look, this is how ridicuous you are being"..
Also, a lot of their characters are not based on actual people, they just make them up. Little Britain is a comedy show, therefore it is not meant to be taken so literally.
Also, if they were so "prejudiced", and didn't care about less fortunate people, then why did David Walliams spend 9 months training to swim the English Channel, raising a million pounds for Charity?

This is not a site where every board is restricted to fans. It is a discussion board which welcomes all different points of view without having to resort to pathetic mud-slinging.

I loathe this show, but why should I mind if others like it? I am not going to insult them like others do.

I can see why people do like it; but the type of humour just doesn't appeal to me. It's repetitive and "samey". No doubt I like stuff that others hate. Doesn't mean one opinion is any more or less valid than another. Just bear in mind that by resorting to petty insults you undermine your argument.
