1980s - Seagal
Now - Seagal but the fight would be done slower

Seagal would absolutely dominate Van Damme due to his greater range of martial arts skills. Also Van Damme is about 6inches shorter in height than Seagal so Seagal would have the advantage of keeping Van Damme at a distance where he can't get close enough to land a knock out blow.

As for people commenting on Van Dammes muscles, you need to consider that Seagal was muscular in his younger days but he didn't have a body builders physique like Van Damme as he would know that this would actual restrict his movements. Van Damme in his prime was about 195 - 210lbs where as Seagal in his prime was probably about 240 - 250lbs, I know to some that would sound too heavy for Seagal but that's taking into consideration the fact that he's about 6'4 / 6'5 so the weight is spread over a much larger frame

I don' know about 80's, but now Seagala would win. He just have to fall on Van Damme, and he is crushed.

Man I'm just tired of all these Seagal nut huggers. Seagal had a chance to back up all the *beep* he talked about Van Damme over the years and he wimped out when Van Damme challenged him at Stallone's crib yet some folks act like Seagal is some kind of god! Give me a break! Van Damme got tired of all the down talk Seagal was doing about him and he confronted him like a real man, and the "master" bitched out, LOL!

I haven't watched enough of their recent work to comment, but in their prime, though I like Van Damme, I'd have to give the edge to the Buddhist Bonecrusher over the Muscles from Brussels.
