I enjoyed the vibrant and unique visual style, the hilarious gags and the A-list talent that did an admirable job in giving voices to the characters.

Mindless humor, the characters moved in spastic and jerky ways. Didn't laugh, or even smile, once.
Family loved Madagascar - music memorable and we love spotting places in NYC we had been.

The look of Madagascan jungle was God-awful, since when does a jungle consist of all but 3 types of tree? And you don't get MEADOWS in Madagacar! You get dry scrubland and rice paddies! And fossa don't look like that at all! No resemblance. You show that to a Malagasy person and they wouldn't know what it is! I did like singing I like to move it move it to the lemurs though. They seemed to like it.

It was funny and I felt entertained. That's why I went to see it and I got what I wanted.
It was alright I guess. I just dont like animated movies. I didnt find the movie that funny.
