I know the movie did give us a little bit of closure, but I wasn't a big fan. I really think that the only other show of similar humour that has appealed to me as much as this has been The Good Place.

Agreed. I love this show! I'm watching it again on Prime.

I'm currently watching 'Upload' which has very much reminded me of 'Dead Like Me' and how I really need to do a rewatch.

Yes to Upload. I too thought it reminded me of this and The Good Place.
