Some people need to see this movie again (spoilers)

1. There is nothing supernatural in this film. Barry's character is insane and it is told from her point of view.

2. There are no plot holes in this movie. The story is told from the point of view of an insane person, but you only slowly become aware of that fact. The "plot holes" you see are just you not getting the movie.

I think the most interesting aspect of this film is what drove Barry's character insane. She is a good person who gradually realized that she was married to an insane serial killer. She couldn't handle it and it drove her crazy.

I think it's a little bit of both worlds but i have to say if she did find out earlier that her husband was evil then why didn't they show her finding out about him. It would usually make sense showing scenes where she would suspect little things to tie up the story.

Also the ending just shows that after everything she went through she has become more sensitive to the supernatural and now can see things.

I think the "she's insane" angle would work if the movie didn't show her being possessed. I didn't see anywhere in the film where the writers were pointing to her being insane, they deliberately wrote the story as a supernatural thriller IMO. At the end the man sees the ghost and if the doctor found out he was a murderer I don't think she'd kill him but rather call the police (based off her personality). Also, the movie never showed any revelation of her knowing about the murders before the start of the supernatural occurrences so that leads me to believe she didn't know. I always just view this as a supernatural (ghost) thriller, somebody Can argue about insanity but I don't see it

OP you're wrong. Stop trying to feel special by acting like you've figured something out.
