Why doesnt Charlotte ever wear pants

Every single scene in the movie where Charlotte is in her apartment she is pantless. It seems so unimportant to the plot, yet adds a level of unnecessary sexualization to her character.

What wrong with sexualization her character?
What's wrong with being comfortable in your home?

I love that she is a very sensuous and sexy woman.

It doesn't have to be "important" to the plot .. it's the little details that add dimension to a movie.

I think her lack of pants -- and shoes and socks -- adds to her vulnerability. It also contributes to the sense that we are seeing her private moments -- as if we were ghosts observing her, and seeing more than any real person ever could.

I think this movie would have felt very different if we only saw Charlotte in pants and shoes.

Farewell to you nice people out there! You know who you are.

I literally never wear proper pants at home, not even loose jeans (unless I'm preparing to go out, of course). I'm always in casual stretch pants (aka work-out wear) or loose shorts. So I found Charlotte's choice of attire in her hotel room totally realistic.
