and why so much swearing?
I have to admit I wouldn't have minded seeing someone else in Wayans' role, but I still enjoyed it. Wayans really is a bad actor.

Like most of the Coen's work, I feel that was to develop the character of the guy as a hot headed, warm-hearted and foul mouthed one.

I really Marlon Wayans in general. It's unfortunate that he's been in a lot more cr@p than good stuff, but when he puts his mind to it I think he's got enough charisma that it can flow through the character and make it watchable rather than having to go indepth and soul searching as some actors do.

Wayans was great in this film; perfect dirty-south-wannabe-gangster. Tell me you didn't laugh when when he told Pancake "Jacka$$--you done blewt yo damn finga off!"
