why such bad language ?
This is a very funny movie which needs none the F-bombs and so forth. The profanity is not funny and just detracts from the film in my opinion.

Personal question... why are so many of your posts questioning the need for vulgar language in films?
They have ratings for a reason, so people like yourself can avoid them if they so desire.

bad language in films is crap.
There's no such thing as "bad language," there's just language. People have different sensibilities and not everyone is going to be offended by the same words you are.
But you're forgetting that your problem's already been solved by MPAA ratings. Young or sensitive people don't have to be exposed to "bad words" if they avoid R-rated movies.
There is a time and place for everything. Among his close friends the character in question may have spoken that way i.e. unable to utter a sentence without an expletive, some people think it makes them look tough or macho, but I think when in a mixed group such as the 'Ladykillers' he would have toned down his comedic persona to an occasional swearword for emphasis or in his case when other words failed him. In movies as in life, when something is 'over the top' the novelty soon wears off and becomes irritating and this is what happened to this movie. I personally was relieved when he shot himself as I had enjoyed enough of his OTP profanity.
