Ranks the warriors from the movie from best to worse. Can add reasoning if you like.

Agree disagree discuss.

Power Levels are just for kicks for any DBZ fans out there.

1. Achilles PL Over 9000! Defeats every opponent he faces. Only has trouble with Hector. Takes the beach of Troy with only 50 Men! Is far better than Patroclus. Easily defeats Boagrius.

2. Hector PL 6000. Most likely the 2nd best. He stands his ground against Achilles far longer than any other warrior. Has a close fight with Ajax. Easily defeats Menelaus

3. Ajax the Great PL 5000. Defeats many warriors and nearly kills Hector. Is fearless in battle.

4. Boagrius PL 5000. While he easily loses to Achilles, he puts up an impressive offensive before being killed with a single stab to the neck. Boajreus was clearly the best warrior in his entire army and from the words of his King had killed or frightened off several other champions which would make him the best in several armies. I'd wager Achilles got a lucky jump on him else the fight would have been closer.

5. Patroclus PL 3000. He's probably the hardest to place since we see him fight very little. Seems far better than average as he cut through many warrior before facing Hector. Hector easily kills him. He trains with Achilles and has the same fighting style but is far weaker. Achilles knows he's vulnerable and doesn't allow him to fight.

6. Eudorus PL 2000. Never fights a reputable warrior but is 2nd in command for Achilles' men which are said to be some of the best Greeks(Even known by Hector). Enters battle without fear and survives till the end.

7. Odysseus PL 1500. While he never fights any reputable warriors aside from Glaucus he does enter battle killing many and survives till the end.

8. Menelaus PL 1000. Dies to Hector easily but was taken by surprise. Easily defeats Paris. Was said to be a great warrior and lived for fighting. I'd say in his prime he was pretty good.

9. Glaucus PL 500. General of the Trojan Army. Only fights once but holds his own against several warriors before being defeated by Odysseus.

10. Agamennon PL 200. Never see him fight but looks out of shape.

11. Paris PL 200. Easily defeated by Menelaus. Not sure how he compares to avg without his bow.

Achilles - No question, no doubt
Hector - Obviously and easily 2nd best
Ajax - Agreed; this guy is a titan (small t), and that warhammer is scary.
Odysseus - I think he's an easily-underestimated fighter, but the strategic mind on Odysseus never quits. He has a lot of prowess, but his mental acumen would give him the edge over a lot of others.
Menelaus - Might be getting a bit old, but he's clearly still a boss.
Eudorus - Achilles gets the best.
Boagrius - He's big, but I get the impression Boagrius relies entirely on his size to win. He can huck spears a long distance, he can scare the Dickens out of people, but if you maintain composure (somehow) and stay nimble, I bet Boagrius isn't as great a fighter as many other big champs on the battlefield.
Agamemnon - Haughtiness might be a weak point, but he's king of the Greeks for a reason. This guy knows his way around a battlefield. He's a bit older, of course, and he is obviously more adept at politics than swordplay, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's physically fit; plus, he will definitely pull some shady, dirty fighting.
Glaucus - Who? If he's the Trojan general, yeah, he's got to be worth something.
Paris - A chicken, but not bad with swordplay.
Patroclus - Decent, but gets owned hard. Paris might be more of a wiener, but I doubt he could kill Menelaus or Eudorus.

I don't know about the placement of Boagrius. I'd say he takes Menelaus easily. I'd also place money on him over Odysseus and Eudorus. Remember Boagrius killed several other champions which would mean to have a shot at him you'd have to be the best in a small army. I doubt Menelaus, Odysseus are not the best of their kingdom warriors. Eudorus might have been a champion of a small kingdom army but he never fights another reputable fighter so it's hard to say.

Patroclus at the bottom? Remember he did stager Hector. Patroclus studied under Achilles for years and sliced through other warriors just as easily as Achilles and Hector. Given time to reach an older age he could have been just as good as Achilles.

When was Paris shown to be good at sword play?

Maybe I'm knocking Boagrius because he's a side character and used as a chump to show how buff Achilles is. You're right: he wasn't unskilled, and I might rethink Menelaus' placement. Maybe here I just like Brendan Gleeson too much to let him slide down too far...

But I'm going to stand by Eudorus and Odysseus besting the giant, especially the latter. Eudorus was Achilles' lieutenant, and first among the Myrmidons. This is not a man who lacks skill, composure, or power. I bet he can take down a lot of people.

Odysseus, meanwhile, is cunning as heck. If Achilles is Superman, Odysseus is Batman, and you'd better believe he's got a strategy. Boagrius, for instance, throws both spears at long range, and I bet Odysseus could jog forward (as Achilles did), goad Boagrius into chucking the spears (as he did with Achilles), and dodge them. Then Odysseus might decide to wait until Boagrius charged. Keep ducking out of the way until the big lug overtires himself, and finally batter him with a couple well-placed blows. Or he'd jab a spear twixt his toes. Who knows? But I bet Odysseus could weasel his way through the fight. He's also just a plain, good fighter, generally.

Patroclus was inexperienced and foolhardy. I think a lot of his success in his brief combat was due to the Myrmidons backing him and the fear his armour ruse inspired.

Paris was a prince of Troy, so probably had been trained. I'm saying he's lower than everybody save only Patroclus, so I'm not giving him big props there. Now, that said, I did make the mistake of only mentioning swordplay. I should have really highlighted his bow skills, which worked out just fine for him in the end.
