shareI liked Shane for her cool personality and how she always tried to stay out of other people'/ business and gave people the benefit of the doubt. She was honest. I also liked Alice for her comic relief.

You just more or less described Joan Jett! Anyone else here believe the Shane character was inspired by her? It's not only in looks and style, but big time in personality; they have some major personality traits in common!! And I agree- I love those things about Shane, which is why she's my favorite character.
