I wish they remembered each other

At the end. Then they could have been together. But it was a good ending anyway =)

They did remember. When Mel and Ryan met on the bridge there was a powerful attraction between them. They both knew in their hearts that they had found their partner....

Excellent movie. But it only shows half of the process of life and death.

The movie is far closer to the truth than you can know at this time...

Making the first Jump is very hard to do. But once done it is easy...

Look at it this way. Ryan was suicidal in the beginning. Notice how he gambled by skating on the old bridge. His friend wouldn't cross the bridge. Then Ryan got his wish. He died. Then at the Factory he came to understand that you can't get away from your life that easy. He had to return and finish it. Mel was stalling because she feared pain and the unknown of her medical problem. She fell in love with Ryan and got the nerve to return to be with Ryan.

Great Story.....

Remember the part where Grandpa talked about falling in love with this wife twice? The first time was in grammar school (sixth grade?), the second time in college?

Mel asked if she (Grandma) remember him and he said no, but they got to fall in love a second time. I think that was the way it was to be for Mel and Ryan. They fell in love in the Dust Factory and even though they didn't remember each other back in the real world, they got to fall in love a second time.
