didn't need the flashing and the jumpy camera

otherwise a decent revenge flick

reply

I agree somewhat, he could have cut back on it. A little is fine tho imo, makes it stand out from a run of the mill revenge flick.

reply

I found that rather annoying too, but otherwise I liked the film.

reply

it's a pain

reply

i agree but i feel like it works during creasy's attempted suicide and it had a max payne 3 vibe to it aswell

reply

i found it pretty annoying after watching it for the first time in 2020, but if i watched back in 2004? maybe not. Seems the jittery camera and flashing are more common in films lately than back then.

reply

unnecessary in my opinion

reply

Meh, it’s kinda Tony Scott’s style. It’s not my cup of tea but he makes it work.

reply

Good god, that was awful. The movie also went on for way too long.

reply

a decent revenge movie.

reply

No, I thought it was boring and ridiculous. But I have to admit revenge movies aren't my kind of thing. Have you seen the original from 1987?

reply

Unfortunately, That was Director Tony Scott's 'thing' or 'style' or whatever. Especially in his later films. Love most of his films but yeah, that sh*t was unnecessary & annoying

reply

I thought it worked for Domino.

reply

Really? I found it super annoying & overused in Domino. The most annoying probably

But hey, to each their own

reply

In the extras they called it “bounty hunting on acid”. I think I’d have to agree.
