Average film

The movie isn’t a difficult watch. There are some gorgeous visuals and locations. Batista makes a good lead, and there is a solid supporting cast, with actors like Terry Crews, Ben Kingsley, and Scott Atkins

But this movie is not exceptional. The movie follows a standard and predictable formula, with an abundance of cliches borrowed from movies like John Wick, Sin City, and Smokin’ Aces. Some characters and scenes are silly (eg the dancing assassin). The dialogue is corny at times. I didn’t like the girl who plays Maize: the scenes involving their romance were the low points. Batista, as I said, makes a good lead, but I ended up liking Terry Crews’ character more, and I kinda wish Terry Crews had gotten the lead
